Klafs, studied with the greats at the Chouinard Art Institute in Los Angeles (Notable Alumni: Larry Bell, Edward Ruscha, Llyn Foulkes, Edith Head, Bob Mackie, Milo Baughman) as well as the Santa Fe Institute Of Fine Arts. Additionally she traveled to Israel to study and represent the famous artist Reuven Rubin.
