One estate is from a Princeton PhD geologist Ken Deffeyes who became friends and inspired the writings of John McPhee. This estate features signed first edition John McPhee books, vintage cameras, a historical calculator collection, rocks, scientific items and more. The second estate comes in from a large home in Santaluz and features a set of Frank Lloyd Wright designed chairs by Cassini, Stickley furniture, Ethan Allen furniture, Rolling Stones concert posters and more. The third estate is from Escondido and features items acquired while working as diplomats in Burma and features items from a female US Naval Admiral. Item Details

Each measures 11" x 1'2". Peter And Traudl Markgraf have been working as a team in the graphic arts for over 30 years.

They are considering by their peers to be outstanding in the field of serigraphy. While living in eastern Canada they produced silkscreens for many of Canada's best know artists including A.Y. Jackson, and in the sixties started to develop their own unique technique and style in creating original graphics. A three month camping trip through Canada and settlingon the Westcoast inspired them to apply their skill and artistry to create images of the landscapes of Canada.

Peter Markgraf was born in Dessau, Germany in 1924. Traudl Markgraf, von Pigenot, was born near Munich, Germany in 1925.
