Our client Renée was born and raised on a ranch in Southern California. She showed an early interest in art as seen in her childhood drawings of the fauna and flora in her environment rich in nature.

After college, she spent six years studying with selected private instructors and for five years, owned and operated her own studio/gallery with Max Turner in Calabasas, CA, where she taught painting and sculpture.

Renée has won numerous awards nationally for her sculptures, including first place at Three Rivers Art Exhibition, Pittsburgh, PA.

She was commissioned by the University of West Virginia to sculpt a mountain man, and also commissioned to create an Angel Award for the Religion in Media's Annual Award Ceremony.

Renée has been the featured lecturer on bronze sculpture for the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, OK, and served on the Board of Directors of the Philbrook Museum, Tulsa, OK. She has also juried many competitions throughout California.
