View All 403 Items From Princeton PhD Geologist, Santaluz Estate, World Traveler Estate And Escondido Estate

We have maybe our most interesting sale in a while featuring FOUR separate estates. One estate is from a Princeton PhD geologist Ken Deffeyes who became friends and inspired the writings of John McPhee. This estate features signed first edition John McPhee books, vintage cameras, a historical calculator collection, rocks, scientific items and more. The second estate comes in from a large home in Santaluz and features a set of Frank Lloyd Wright designed chairs by Cassini, Stickley furniture, Ethan Allen furniture, Rolling Stones concert posters and more. The third estate is from Escondido and features items acquired while working as diplomats in Burma and features items from a female US Naval Admiral. Last but by far not least is an eclectic collection of items from world travelers and antique collectors perfect for someone looking for that statement piece for their home.

Measures 2'5" x 2'5". In addition to being an outstanding painter, draftsman, engraver, sculptor, muralist and teacher, Nishizawa also exerted with great tenacity the cultural promotion in Mexico. As a Japanese father and Mexican mother, he was able to surpass his international heritage to create a very particular style: Mexican landscape with Middle Eastern techniques. His work has been constantly recognized in international exhibitions and all his work has been distinguished by his constant cultural contributions, granted by CONACULTA and UNAM. In 1992, the "Luis Nishizawa Museum-Workshop" was inaugurated, a cultural institution in Toluca, State of Mexico dedicated to the shelter of work and a space to instruct young painters.
